Mind HK x HKU Public Lecture: Ending the Stigma around Mental Health Worldwide

Research and Impact Initiative on Communication in Healthcare at the Faculty of Arts, The University of Hong Kong (HKU RIICH), and Mind HK are pleased to invite you to an inaugural lecture by Sue Baker, OBE (Order of the British Empire), Global Director of Time to Change, on changing attitudes toward mental health.

Time to Change UK is the largest ever programme to end mental health stigma and discrimination and has led to significant improvements in public attitudes and reductions in reported discrimination, according to academic evaluation. Since Sue Baker set up Time to Change in 2007 she has transformed it into a worldwide movement impacting millions of people.

Earlier this year, Time to Change started to bring their work international, changing attitudes and curating evidence-based and culturally appropriate anti-stigma campaigns across the world. Sue Baker’s new global role involves working with community organisations, government, policy makers, and key stakeholders across the world to address stigma.
