Again this year, our organisation is hosting a full-day conference on Rethinking Value, Change Makers stage, HKCEC, on Thursday 6 October. Stepping into its 3rd edition, ReThink HK is the city’s most ambitious business event for sustainable development. This large-scale, cross-sector platform champions ESG transformation and showcases game-changing innovation. This year, ReThink HK will gather 300+ expert speakers over 7 theatres/stages on 6 key themes. Our full-day conference on Rethinking Value is an interactive learning experience where participants will build knowledge of shared value across different sectors, challenging traditional notions of value. 10:45 – 11:00 Rethinking Business: reconceiving products & markets In the first of three mini sessions on the levels of shared value, SVIHK looks at how products and markets can be reconceived through successful shared value business models. Hear how this new approach can open new markets for your company by serving unmet needs in underserved communities. 
11:00 – 13:15 Human Factor Fresk: Is our Brain our Biggest Enemy or Strongest Ally for Sustainable Behaviour Change? How can we transform how we do business to align profit with purpose and create shared value? SVIHK will co-host this session with Humans Matter, specialists in cognitive design, to explore how to accelerate sustainable measurable change. Participants will be invited to play the Human Factor Fresk, a collaborative game that leverages cognitive sciences, to help diagnose what factors hinder or trigger our ability to change and adopt new behaviours, individually and collectively. 
14:10 – 14:25 Rethinking Business: redefining productivity in value chain In the second of three mini sessions on the levels of shared value, SVIHK explores how companies can improve their own business processes through social or environmental innovation by redefining productivity in the value chain. 
14:25 – 15:55 Shared Value Showcase: practitioner success panel Real-world case studies are key to teaching shared value. Join Hong Kong-based shared value practitioners who will discuss their shared value journey. A unique window into their experience practicing shared value in Hong Kong covering their success, challenges, learnings, and more. 
15:55 – 16:10 Rethinking Business: enabling local cluster development In the third of three mini sessions on the levels of shared value, SVIHK explores the connection between a company’s success and its community’s success and the importance of building local cluster development. 
16:10 – 17:25 Redesigning our Value Systems: Wheel of Fortune Returning by popular demand, our Wheel of Fortune game show returns to Rethink HK this year, with players from diverse business and impact perspectives as they strive to balance People, Planet & Profit – with your input.
