October 10 each year marks World Mental Health Day, a global initiative that encourages an open dialogue to raise awareness and offer support to improve mental health and wellbeing. As an organisation that prides itself on creating a supportive professional environment for our global network of Members, this is quite naturally an important day for The Executive Centre. We view #WMHD as an opportunity to show that we are serious about our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive working environment for both our Members and our team. We hope that conversations prompted by this day will lead to sustained and meaningful change in our community and beyond.
Several members of our global team have had the opportunity to participate in the SVIHK training led by Richard Welford. This has been an important step toward developing greater insight into the concept of shared value and an opportunity to reflect on case studies that demonstrate its genuine commercial potential. We are now positioned to take steps towards enacting change, and the overwhelming consensus from our teams is that we are ready and willing to do this.
The Executive Centre (TEC) opened its doors in Hong Kong in 1994 and today boasts more than 125 centres in 30 cities and 13 countries.
Since its inception, TEC have welcomed ambitious professionals and industry leaders who were looking for more than just an office space. They were looking for a place for their organisations to thrive.
